Obituary for John E. Beatty Jr Mr. John E. Beatty, Jr., 88, a former resident of Wells, NY, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2018 at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation in Gloversville. Born on December 12, 1929 in Williamsport, PA, the son of the late, John E. and Josephine Hosley Beatty.

John was a graduate of Wells Central High School, class of 1947 and also graduated from Benjamin Franklin Accounting School in Washington DC. He was employed by the US Government in Washington DC. He was a lifetime resident of the area and a communicant of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

He was also a 20 year member of the Knights of Columbus #8846 of Northville. He is survived by cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Wells from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon with Fr.

Sony Pikul as Celebrant. Burial will be held in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Wells at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Ann’s Catholic Church or the Wells Volunteer Ambulance Co. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Northville Funeral Home.
