Obituary for John Ivan Orlic Print John Ivan Orlic, 77, of Carlstadt since 1974, passed away on January 27, 2019. Mr. Orlic was born in Sali, Croatia and came to the U.S.A. in 1958 and deeply loved both his countries. Prior to retiring, he was a marble polisher for over 30 years at Remco in New York City.

John was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius & St. Raphael’s Catholic Croatian Church and a lifelong member of the church choir. He was a member of the Croatia Fraternal Union of America and was involved with Croatian Radio in New York City.

John had a great sense of humor, the best laugh and smile and loved his family. Beloved husband of Lisa (nee Ribera) Orlic. Loving father of Geoffrey Orlic and his fiancée Ana, Kreso Orlic and his wife Susie, John Orlic and his wife Kate and Steven Orlic.

Dear brother of Veljko “Willy” Orlic and the late Tonci Orlic, Mario Orlic and Joan Ivka Orlic. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 9:45 AM for a Funeral Mass in Sts. Cyril & Methodius & St. Raphael’s Catholic Croatian Church, 502 W. 41st Street, New York City at 11:00 AM.
