Obituary for John J. Headrick JOHN J. HEADRICK, age 97, of Newport, TN, born October 17, 1921 in Newport, TN, the son of the late Floyd and Anna Conway Headrick, passed away on October 24, 2018. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during World War II and was a retired truck driver. Preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Audrey (Ted) Clevenger Headrick; three brothers and one sister.

Survived by sister-in-law, Ruth Sax; and special friends, Evelyn and Sue Ann Reece; and several nieces and nephews. Special thank you and appreciation to Belinda Carter and Newport Health and Rehab and Smoky Mountain Hospice for their loving care. Funeral service will be Friday, 3 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with Rev.

Darrell Chambers officiating. Interment to follow at French Broad Baptist Cemetery with military honors. Family will receive friends from 2-3pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
