Obituary John Joseph Easley, resident of Terre Haute for the past 25 years, died March 16 at the age of 99 years and 8 months. John was born in Terre Haute Union Hospital to Ruth (Fredenberger) Easley and Charles Judson Easley July 16, 1919, and grew up in Clay City Indiana, working in his father’s drug store, opened 2 months before his birth. He joined his father in the store in 1946, took over operation of Easley’s Rexall Drugs about 10 years later and ran it until he retired in 1981.
