Obituary for John Krzeminski John Joseph Krzeminski, Jr., age 76, of West Haven, beloved husband to Lee (Austin) Krzeminski passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born in New Haven on July 21, 1941, he was the son of the late John Joseph, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth (McManus) Krzeminski. John was brought up through childhood by his grandmother, the late Victoria Krzeminski.

He attended Saint John’s Catholic School in New Haven, was known as a hard-worker, always working two jobs. Before retirement, he was a receiving clerk for the VA Hospital and most recently worked for Adam’s Supermarket in Milford and Frankie’s Gourmet Hotdogs in New Haven. John had a passion for animals and thought highly of Dr. Padilla’s work at the West Haven Animal Clinic.

John was predeceased by his son Paul Krzeminski. Along with his wife Lee of thirty years, John is survived by his step-daughters, Cassandra (Michael) Ruotolo-Popky, Laurie Ruotolo, grandchildren MaryGrace Popky, Bobby Popky, Michael Meyer, Robert Meyer, and great granddaughter Mila Meyer. All services will be held privately.

Memorial contributions may be made in John’s name to Parkinson’s Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or to the West Haven Animal Clinic, 959 Campbell Ave. , West Haven, CT 06516.
