Obituary for Frances Irvine (Ferrante) Frances Rose Irvine, 92 passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at her home. Frances was born in West Haven on January 1, 1926 and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Yola (Massare) Ferrante.

Frances was an agent cashier at the VA Hospital in West Haven and worked at Macy’s before retiring in 1995. Frances was a Girl Scout leader for many years, enjoyed gardening, baking and was a master at needle crafting. She is survived by her beloved daughter Diane (Richard) DeMorro of West Haven.

She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Nicolle Camara, Tony (Kim) DeMorro and her great grandchildren Diana and Nikolas Camara, Mikenna, Joely, and RJ DeMorro. She is also survived by her sister Rosemarie Endrody and predeceased by her brother Anthony Ferrante and brother in law Charles Endrody. A truly selfless and strong woman, she will be forever missed by her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Burial to follow at Saint Lawrence Cemetery.
