Obituary for John Giesken John N. Giesken, 69, of Ravenwood, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at his home. John was born on June 16, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Willard and Audrey (Nelson) Giesken. He was a 1967 graduate of Northeast Nodaway High School.

John was a truck driver for Maryville Implement and later Northwest Implement. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ravenwood Community Betterment, Nodaway County Shooting Sports, Missouri Trap Shooters Association, 4-H, past member Jackson Township Fire & Rescue. He married Pat A. McGary on August 30, 1969 in Conception Junction, Missouri.

She survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons, Chris (Amy) Giesken, Olathe, Kansas, Corey (Tammi) Giesken, Kansas City, Missouri, daughter, Becky (Greg) Runde, Worth, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Taylor, Brady, Grayson Giesken and Jackson, Madelyn and Audrey Runde. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Hunter Giesken.

Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Tuesday, September 11th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Parnell, Missouri. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery, Parnell, Missouri. Rosary 5PM, Monday, September 10th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends following the rosary until 8PM. The family suggests memorials to the Northeast Nodaway School Foundation or Nodaway County Shooting Sports. Arrangements Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.
