South St., Corry, Pa. died on Monday, May 20, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie Pa. He was born November 3, 1946 in Corry, Pa.

son of the late Phyllis Taylor Proper Blakeslee and John “Jack” Proper. John served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. His main priority was his family John is survived by his wife Barbara J.Wickwire Proper; two sons, Thad Proper of Corry, Pa.

and Jason Proper of Meadville, Pa. and a brother, Gary Proper and his wife Anita of Spring Creek, Pa. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Pandora, Ayden, Tanner, Kyra, Kaylin and three great-grandchildren, Violet, Milo and Mason.

No calling hours will be held. Services will be held privately by his family. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa.
