Sears August 31, 1946 – March 09, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card John Richard Sears, 72, of Parsons, died Saturday morning, March 9, 2019, at Labette Health in Parsons. He is survived by his sister Marianna (Sears) Theibaud and her husband, Alan of Allen, Texas; brother Bill Sears and his wife, Denise of Parsons; and brother Jim Sears and his wife, Melissa of Baldwin City, Kansas. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. followed by Visitation at 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Forbes Hoffman Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick’s Church, or The Prince of Peace Catholic Community of Plano, Texas, or to the Presbyterian Manor Bingo Fund. These may be left at or mailed to the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357. Further obiotuary details will be announced later.
