Obituary for John Randall Baggs II John Randall Baggs, II Augusta, GA – Mr. John Randall “Randy” Baggs II, 47, entered into rest Tuesday, January 8, 2019, devoted husband to Anna Cox Baggs and loving father to Ellyn Olivia Baggs. Randy was a graduate of the University of Georgia and a loyal Bulldog football fan. Not only did he enjoy taking vacations with family, he enjoyed spending time writing poetry.

He was passionate about music and played bass in a rock band in his younger years. Randy was a loving husband, father, son and brother. Additional family members include father: Charles Baggs (Joy Fredericks); mother: Olivia Osbon; sister: Lisa Kay Baggs; faithful Boston Terrier: Sandy; and many other loving family members.

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 P.M in the sanctuary of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church with Dr. Matt Rich officiating. Burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Nickel, Keith Jenkins, Josh Kitchen, Brian Johnson, Stuart Rayburn, Howard Merry, Samuel Womack, and Taylor Blalock.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Randy’s memory. The family will receive friends one-hour prior in the Church Fellowship Hall beginning at 1:00P.M. Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd. , Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
