Obituary for John Ray Allen John Ray Allen, age 61, of Highlandville, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Cox South Hospital. He was born in Brookfield, Missouri on April 16, 1957 to Leroy and Elaine Allen. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

In 2001 he and Faye (Thomas) Allen were united in marriage. John was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and a lot more. John drove a truck for 18 years and loved spending time with family and friends.

John is survived by his wife Faye Allen of Highlandville; his mother Elaine Allen of Nixa; a son Zeke Kelly of Sparta; a son Ike Kelly of Reeds Spring; a daughter Heather Weaver and husband Don Weaver of Searcy, Arkansas; a son Eric Kelly of Marshall; a daughter Della Kessinger and husband Rusty Kessinger of Highlandville; a son Joey Kelly of Sparta; and a son Jamie Godfrey of Crane; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Allen; a brother Kenny; a brother Jeff; and a sister Beverly. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 10, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.

Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of John Ray Allen please visit our Sympathy Store.
