Alderson, age 88 of Hampton passed away March 14, 2019. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a retired aircraft mechanic for Delta Airlines, and was preceded in death by his son: Kevin Alderson.

Surviving are his wife: Betty Ruth Alderson, sons: Gary Alderson and wife Diana of Griffin and Darryl Alderson of Hampton, granddaughter: Brooke Alderson and great-granddaughter: Anna Alderson. Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Little officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at the funeral home.
