Born Wednesday, September 28, 1955 in Cameron, Texas, he was a member of Lapine Assembly of God Church and was a master carpenter specializing in antebellum home restoration. Mr. Ryals was preceded in death by his parents, John William Ryals, II and Betty Jean Gates Ryals.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debbie Benton Ryals; children, Will Ryals (Ashley), Lynn Ann Burque (Matt), Mac Aaron Ryals (Kanda), Timi Rains (Brett) and Dakota Ryals; grandchildren, Lillian, Katherine, Kurtis, Ella, Jake, Bronson, Maverick, Fynn, Jo Lee and Hayes; sisters, Jeanine Bridges (Jim), Diane McDonald (Dannie) and Pam Broud (Joel). Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Lapine Assembly of God Church with Rev. Gene Benson officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of services.
