Mr. Johnny Bishop age 69, of Ft. Payne, Alabama formerly of the Boaz area died on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his residence. Service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Michael Goforth and Dr. Mike Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bethsaida Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from noon until funeral time at the funeral home. Mr. Bishop was born in Alabama on March 4, 1949 to Lester V. & Audie Debord Bishop.

He was a retired Territorial Sales Manager with Buffalo Rock Bottling Company. Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife: Sharon O’Neal-Bishop of Ft. Payne, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Judy & Billy Ted Cofield of Boaz, Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law: Terry & Sherry O’Neal, Steve & Lojuanna O’Neal, Quinton & Dojuana O’Neal, Linda O’Neal, Alan & Janet O’Neal and Teresa & Tony Norris.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: Lester & Audie Bishop, Brothers: Neal Bishop and Billy Bishop and Sister: Polly Hubbard. Pallbearers will be Steve McBurnett, Wyley Smith, A. J. Evans, Steve O’Neal, Quinton O’Neal and Alan O’Neal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Class of 1967.
