Johnny Lee Storey, 52, of Elberton, GA, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Abbeville Area Medical Center. He was born in Greenville, SC to the late Forrest L. and Nancy Elaine Gilliland Storey. Johnny was a 1984 graduate of Calhoun Falls High School and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his cats.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-nephew, Andrew Dove. Johnny is survived by a brother, Chris Storey (Rhonda Johnson) of Elberton, GA; a sister, Cindy Taylor-Duke (Dwayne) of Calhoun falls, SC; two nephews, Roger Womack, III and Joshua Duke; three nieces, Tifanni Storey, Samantha Dove (Sam), and Kayla Duke; four great-nieces and five great-nephews. A Gathering of family and friends to Celebrate Johnny’s Life will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the home of Cindy and Dwayne Duke, 42 Storey Place Calhoun Falls, SC 29628.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions, in memory of Johnny, be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
