OBITUARY Mr. Jon Staton January 1, 1957 – October 14, 2018 Jon was born on January 1, 1957 in Fresno, California to parents Clyde and Laura Estelle (Gann) Staton and entered into eternal rest on October 14, 2018 at the age of 61. Jon graduated from Roosevelt High School in Fresno, California. After graduating he joined the United States Army, where he served two tours and was stationed in Korea.

Jon married the loved of this life, Ana Johnson, on May 15, 1987 in Athens, Texas. They were married for 31 years. He was a truck driver for many years.

Jon was a hard worker, great father and husband and a very caring brother. He was helpful to anyone that needed it, a jack of all trades. Jon enjoyed traveling and playing games on his computer.

He also loved playing card games, especially Texas Hold ‘Em. Jon was kind to everyone and loved his cats. He was an amazing man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jon was preceded in death by his father Clyde Staton, step-father C.W. Raines, father-in-law Buster Johnson and brother-in-law David Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife Ana Louise Staton, son Shaun Michael Staton, son Lane David Staton, mother Laura Estelle Raines, twin brother Timothy J. Staton and wife Mina, brothers; Robin Drew Staton and Ronald R. Bond, mother-in-law Betty Johnson, sister-in-law Autumn Miller, nephews; Austin Miller and Steven Luke Bond, niece Brandy Hudson and husband Scott, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends. After the service a reception will be held at the funeral home.
