Obituary for Jose I. Vera Jose I. Vera age 76 of Houston entered into eternal rest on May 31, 2018. He was born on July 2, 1941 to Jose Vera Sr. and Alejandra Ovalle in Mexico. Jose is survived by his loving family which includes his wife of fifty-three years Isabel Vera; daughters Nely Chacon(Richard Chacon), and Ruth Maddock(Ken Maddock); son Omar Vera(Veronica Vera); grandsons Jacob Chacon, Jason Chacon, Jared Chacon, Justin Chacon, and Christopher Vera; granddaughters Joslyn Vera and Kaitlyn Maddock; great granddaughters Caydence Chacon, Cayeigh Chacon, Emma Chacon and Adaleigh Kate Chacon; great grandson Joel Chacon.

He loved flowers. He loved kids. He loved his grandchildren.

He loved going to school. He loved to read. His favorite scripture ” I Corinthians 15:55 , Philippians 1:21 ” He loved walking with his grandson Chris.

He loved going out to eat at Golden Corral. He loved to take trips. Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2018; 3:00 – 9:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home with an evening service at 7:00 officiating Pastor Santiago Medina.

Followed with a funeral service at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 5, 2018 located Iglesia Vison Global Church 2828 McDaniel St, Houston, TX 77093. Interment to be followed at Hollywood Cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Jose I. Vera please visit our Sympathy Store.
