Sarah Eleanor Turner, 78, of Houston, Texas, passed from this life into her heavenly home on June 4, 2018. She was born June 23, 1939 in Anderson, South Carolina to parents. N.L. Nimmons and Clara Mae (Truett) Nimmons.

She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone where she worked for several years as a records clerk. She is preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Lynn T. Turner. A visitation and service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Uvalde Baptist Church, 901 Uvalde Rd. , Houston, Texas with visitation starting from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m. and services to celebrate her life starting at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster immediately following the services under the direction of Carter-Conley Funeral Home.
