Jose L. DeLeon, 45, of Eatontown passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center. Red Bank, NJ. Born in NYC, NY he lived in North Jersey before moving to the shore area 20 years ago.

He was employed for many years with Verizon Services Corp where he worked as a Verizon Technician. In Cliffside, NJ Jose also worked as an EMS and was a Volunteer Fireman. While Jose was a selfless, loving , genuine man with a smile that would light up the night sky , he was also known for being courageous and adventurous.

He was predeceased by his father, Alfredo DeLeon. He is survived by his son, Gabriel DeLeon, mother, Aida Delgado DeLeon, brother, Alfredo DeLeon, sister, Enid DeLeon, nieces, Denise Pastorino, Allison DeLeon and Jamie DeLeon , and his girlfriend Alba Flores Juarez. Visistations will be at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 7-9pm and on Thursday, August 9th from 4-8pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Friday, August 10th at St. Anne’s R.C. Church 15-05 St. Agnes St. Fairlawn, NJ 07410. Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Condolences may be sent to www.
