OBITUARY Josefina Yamanaka Maldonado July 12, 1932 – July 16, 2018 Our heavenly angel Josefina Yamanaka Maldonado went to be with the Lord. She passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born on July 12, 1932 in Piedras Negras Coah.

, Mexico to Jose & Josefina Yamanaka. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Antonio Perez Maldonado; her daughter Esperanza Puentes; and granddaughter Iliana Puentes. She is survived by her son Alberto Y Maldonado (Norma), and her grandchildren Nora Marcano (Joey), Alberto Maldonado Jr. (Patty), Tanya Winfield, Maria Isabel Martinez (Julio), Roxana Sanchez (Ernest), Tina Marie Maldonado, Antonio Maldonado.

Great-grandchildren: Joseph, Julia, Jessica, Coralis, Angelina, Gabriel, Julio Cesar, Alessandra, Byanka, Derek, Naomi, Giani, Bryanna, Annabelle, Isael, Kingston, Lauren , Daniel, Natalia. Her sister Carmela Y. Mendoza; plus numerous nieces & nephews and other family members and friends. Josefina was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and friend who was very devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 6pm-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place the next day at 12pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church with interment to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. FAMILY Mrs. Maldonado is survived by her son Alberto Y Maldonado (Norma), and her grandchildren Nora Marcano (Joey), Alberto Maldonado Jr. (Patty), Tanya Winfield, Maria Isabel Martinez (Julio), Roxana Sanchez (Ernest), Tina Marie Maldonado, Antonio Maldonado.
