Josefina Campos Canalez passed away June 9, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born March 16, 1936 in Adkins, Texas to Canuto Campos and Petra Rodriguez. Josie, as many people knew her by, was a hardworking woman who also volunteered her time at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church feeding those in need.

She was a loving mother and will be dearly missed by everyone who came to know her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Canuto and Petra; husband, Eugene Canales Sr.; and daughter, Linda Arguello. She is survived by her sons, Eugene Canalez Jr. and Federico Guerrero; daughters, Mary Ugarte, Yolanda Rodriguez, Lucy Hinkle, and Rosie Cedillo; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
