Joseph F. Marcione Jr., 86, of Burlington, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Born in Chicago on August 25, 1931, he was the son of Joseph and Adelina (nee Billone) Marcione. He spent his early life in Chicago where he attended school.

Grace preceded him in death on July 21, 2015. Joe worked as a Foreman at Grove Gear. He loved animals and enjoyed doing puzzles, watching western movies and chasing after his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Robert (Diana) Marcione and John Marcione; grandchildren, Charis (Jim) Nelson, Candis (Marty) Craven, John Marcione and Joel (Amber) Jansen. He is further survived by his great grandchildren, Morgan Nelson, Olivia Craven and Aryanna Craven along with his sister, Jeanette “Chicky” (Richard) Schahcziniski. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Mary (Frank) Nardi and brother, Anthony (Angie) Marcione.

The family would like to thank Aurora at Home Hospice, especially nurses, Beth, Sandy and Tammy for their wonderful care. Services for Joe will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with burial to follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
