GIRARD – Joseph Francis Court Jr. 67, died on Tuesday morning January 29, 2019 at his residence following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Youngstown on April 26, 1951 a son of Joseph Francis and Eva (Wilson) Court Sr He honorable served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

He was a laborer and member of the Laborers’ International Union Local 935 Warren. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed being with his friends, bowling, golfing and fishing. A very social and active person, he will be sadly missed by his many friends and family.

Joseph is survived by his two sons, Stephen (Tonya) Court of Niles, Joseph F. Court III of Cortland; seven grandchildren, Casey, Gavin, Collin, Payton, Alexandria, Ryann, Maxwell; great granddaughter, Amiyah; nine siblings, Shawn Protain of Highland, Texas, Susan Leeth of Champion, Laura Khadempir of Arlington, Texas, Loretta Gromley of Niles, James Court of Niles, Cynthia Rounds of Girard, Wayne Court of Niles, Debra Fauvie of Warren, William Court of Niles and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Randy Court; daughter, Angela Court and grandson, Tristan Marino. Calling Hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
