Joseph Henry Brown, Sr. of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018, with his loving wife of 22 years Alice (Dickerson) by his side. Joe was born to the late Marguerite Jordan (Bell) in Altoona, Pennsylvania on April 10, 1925. Joe moved to Williamsport, in 1946, shortly after receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Army.

Joe was a retired education instructor for (WACC) Pennsylvania Technical Institute, as well as the Pennsylvania Prison System (Muncy Prison). A memorial service and burial in memory of Joseph will be held at a later date. In memory of Joseph, the family has asked in lieu of flowers, that donations please be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
