Joseph J. Gracia, 91, husband of the late Mary (Kaminski) Gracia of Phoenixville, PA, died on Monday, November 12, 2018. Born on September 4, 1927 in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Kozacheson) Gracia. He served in the Navy during World War II on USS Gustafson.

He worked for the former BF Goodrich in Oaks as a Truck Tire Builder. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Mont Clare, PA. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, St. Nicholas of Myra Council and was Fourth Degree Knight.

For 65 years he was a professional musician in his polka band, The Polka Express entertaining throughout the tri-state area. He loved annual hunting trips with his family and friends. Joe was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Enjoyed going to his coffee clubs and helping the St. Michaels Monday morning clean up crew at the pavilion. Surviving are: Son, Donald husband of Sherry Gracia, East Norriton, PA. Grandson, Drew husband of Kristina Gracia, Collegeville, PA.

Great-granddaughter, Gabby Gracia. Brother, Peter Gracia, Coatesville, PA. Many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by 2 sisters, Anna Seidel and Rosemarie Miller. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Divine Liturgy in St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Amelia and Landis Streets, Mont Clare, PA 19453 on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10:00 am with Rev. Andriy Kovach officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. A viewing will be held in Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 pm and Monday from 8:45 to 9:15 am. A Parastas Service will be on Sunday at 6:30 pm.
