Joseph “Joe” Hugh DeBlanc June 20, 1946 – May 15, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Joseph “Joe” Hugh DeBlanc, 72, a resident of Osyka, MS, passed away May 15, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be Friday, May 17, 2019 from 9AM until services at 11AM at Terry’s Creek Baptist Church. Rev.

Laverne Summerlin, Rev. James Sanders, and Rev. Wade Burgess will officiate.

Mr. DeBlanc was born June 20, 1946 to the late Elliott R. and Geneva McElveen DeBlanc. He was a retired dairy farmer along with being a member and deacon of Terry’s Creek Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George DeBlanc and David DeBlanc; and two sisters, Deloris Bethel and Annette DeBlanc. He is survived by his wife; Patricia DeBlanc of Osyka, MS; one son, Jody DeBlanc (Laura) of Osyka, MS; one daughter, Amy DeBlanc Burgess (Wade) of Sugar Land, TX; two brothers, Robert DeBlanc (Susie) and Roy DeBlanc; one sister, Genevieve Johnson (Billy); four grandchildren, Alex Burgess, Ashlyn, Aaron, and Allye DeBlanc; a mother-in-law, Lois G. Bridges; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: Danny Spencer, Bud Spencer, Doug Easley, Steve Travis, Billy Lee, Travis Easley and Glenn Sanders.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John M. Bond, Allen McDaniel, Dennis Lea, and Christopher Myers. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Terry’s Creek Baptist Church.
