Obituary for Mr. Joseph Michael Walter Mr. Joseph Michael Walter, age 59, of Clyde Township, passed away on January 8, 2019, in his home. He was born on August 28, 1959, in Detroit, to Frederick and Sharon Walter of Manistee, the 5th child of 11. Joseph married Irene Pilger, she passed away on December 29, 2000.

He served honorably in the United States Navy. Joseph was a former employee of the City of Detroit, and Hartford Steam Boilers. He was also a member of the Port Huron Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar, the Grotto and a former member of the Port Huron Yacht Club.

Joseph is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathon (Kelly) Walter of State of Washington, son, Jesse Walter of Clyde, 2 grandchildren, Haley and Logan, brother and sister-in-law, Patrick (Barbara) Walter, brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Barbara) Walter, sister and brother-in-law, Annmarie (David) Furman, sister and brother-in-law, Karon (John) Bull, brother and sister-in-law, Michael (Melissa) Walter, brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Patricia) Walter, brother, Kevin Walter, sister and brother-in-law, Colleen (David) Edgcombe, brother and sister-in-law, Shawn (Tanya) Walter, sister and brother-in-law, Megan (Rick) Cowan, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Anna Walter and grandniece, Brakell North. Services will be held in the Spring.
