Joseph T. Adams, 51, of Macomb passed away at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Macomb on November 2, 1967 to Donald and Marcia Foster Adams. Joseph is survived by his mother, Marcia Adams of Macomb and three brothers, James T. Adams of Macomb, David A. Adams of Macomb and Matthew R. (Heather) Adams of Canton; one nephew, Matthew “Bubba” Adams of Canton and two nieces, Danielle Adams of Canton and Cynthia Adams of Canton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and his grandparents. Joseph had worked as an English Professor at Western Illinois University. He lived in Macomb all of his life.

He enjoyed family history and was an avid writer. He loved fishing, camping and any type of adventure. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Private burial of ashes will be held in Bardolph Cemetery. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
