Wildnauer, 95, of 205 East Avenue, Johnsonburg, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 25, 2018, at her residence. She was born, Feb.

13, 1923, in Johnsonburg, daughter of Thaddeus and Mary Korman Szczotka. She married Lloyd A. Wildnauer Sr. on Dec. 27, 1947, in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, and he preceded her in death on Feb.

7, 1979. Josephine resided in Johnsonburg all her life and graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1940. She loved going to Church and was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg.

She was very active at the Johnsonburg Senior Center. She also loved all family gatherings. Josephine retired from Keystone Powdered Metals in 1985, after 15 years.

She had also worked at Decker’s Store in the Deckertown section of Johnsonburg for many years and she had also worked at Stackpole Carbon Co. in Johnsonburg. Josephine is survived by a son, Lloyd A. “Bud” Wildnauer Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Johnsonburg; five grandchildren: Shane Wildnauer, Erica, Mrs. Paul Williams, Andy Wildnauer and Mandy, Kristy, Mrs. Iggy Wentling and Matt Wahl; eight great-grandchildren: Tommi and Ty Wildnauer, Hannah and Hallie Williams and Owen, Evan, Elijah and Avery Wildnauer; great-great-grandson, Sylas Challingsworth; a brother, Thomas Sutka of California. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Wahl; her brothers, Leo Sutka and Joseph, Frank, Lawrence and Johns Szczotka; and her sister, Victoria Mulligan.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Josephine M. Wildnauer will be conducted at the Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Wilson, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be held at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home 401 Chestnut Street Johnsonburg, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions should be made to the Johnsonburg Senior Center, 430 Center Street, Johnsonburg, PA 15845.
