Joshua’s Obituary Joshua David LaBrie, 32, of Denton, passed away on December 31, 2018 in Denton after a life-long battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The son of Debra Lee Flagg, he was born on December 8, 1986 in Worcester, MA. Despite his disabilities, Josh was a graduating member of the Class of 2006 from Billy Ryan High School in Denton, Texas and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He loved life and the Dallas Cowboys. All he wanted in life was for everyone to just be happy. He is survived by his mother, Debbie of Denton; one sister Cassandra LaBrie of Denton; four brothers Edward Whitney of Sanger, Joseph Whitney and wife Caitlin and their children Dylan and Kaiden of Portland OR, Benjamin LaBrie of Denton, and Timothy LaBrie of Denton; paternal grandmother Jennie LaBrie of Whitinsville, MA.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Josh’s life 6:30 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1801 Malone Street, Denton, Texas 76209. Bishop Andy Cochran will officiate the services. Services are under the direction of Coker Funeral Home.
