Joshua Gilleo, son, father, brother, husband, and friend, passed away on October 25th, 2018 in Newport, OR. He was 49 years old, born September 25th, 1969 in Valhalla, New York. His family made Newport, Oregon their home in 1975, where Joshua attended area schools, and graduated from Newport High School in 1988.

He excelled in athletics, especially football, earning All State recognition, among other awards. Joshua married in 1995 and set out on many a business venture. He was a natural born entrepreneur, and incredibly hard worker.

Joshua was a licensed general contractor for over 30 years, as well as a licensed roofer, home inspector and structural pest control operator. Joshua had many hobbies as well, and enjoyed them all with passion and enthusiasm. He loved the outdoors, and he loved to learn and master new skills.

What Joshua loved most was his family. He loved with all of his heart, and was fiercely loyal. His children gave him incredible joy, and he was very proud of them.

He is survived by three sons: Dylan Gilleo age 21, Logan Gilleo age 15 and Masan Gilleo age 9. He is also survived by his wife of 23 years Lynlei Norton Gilleo, parents Richard and Laura of Toledo, his adored three sisters Sherri, Jessee and Mary, along with their families. His many nephews and nieces also survive him.

Joshua was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
