Joshua R. Kriewaldt, age 34 of Milwaukee, formerly of Clintonville, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Froedert Hospital, Wauwatosa. Joshua “Josh” Ronald Kriewaldt was born November 23, 1984 in Shawano to Paula Styczynski and the late Ronald “Ron” Kriewaldt. Josh attended St. Martin school and later Clintonville Public Schools where he graduated with the class of 2003.

In high school, Josh was a gifted athlete excelling in baseball and basketball. After graduation, he studied at U.W. Oshkosh where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in business. He was hired at J.P. Morgan Chase, working as an underwriter at various branches in the valley; eventually transferring to the Milwaukee area, where he has lived since.

Josh loved playing and watching sports; the Packers, Brewers, & Bucks were all teams that he followed closely. He was a gifted golfer and really knew his way around a pool table. He also loved swimming and boating on the lake.

Josh adored his fiancé, Kalia, and made sure she knew that she was loved and cherished. He had asked her to marry him during a concert at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado; after asking some other concert-goers near him to help with the proposal. It was a special moment that will not be forgotten.

Josh was outgoing and spontaneous with a very dry sense of humor; he could have you going for a long time and keep a straight face through it all. Josh and his mother, Paula, were also very close, sharing a strong mother and son bond. He also will be missed by his faithful canine companion, Frank, his beloved Chocolate Lab / Bloodhound mix.

Josh showed fearlessness through all aspects of his life. He will be remembered as a gifted athlete, a loving fiancé, son, brother, and a guy that was always willing to help friends and family. Josh is survived by his fiancé, Kalia Xiong Mother: Paula (Dean) Styczynski, Clintonville Sisters: Krystal Kriewaldt, Madison & Samantha (Scott Kielman) Styczynski, Birnamwood Brothers: Greg (Krissy) Kriewaldt, Clintonville & Chad (Cindy) Kriewaldt, Appleton Many aunts, uncles, & other family members who love him.

The visitation will be held Sunday, May 19, from 2-6 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville; and again on Monday at the church from 9 AM until the time of service.
