Mrs. Joy E. Blakeman of Campbellsville passed from this life on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg after an extended illness. Born on November 11, 1928 in Taylor County to the late Melvin D. and Ethel (Dudgeon) Antle, she was 89 years and 11 months of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Blakeman was a former retail sales clerk and a homemaker to her husband Alfred Blakeman, who preceded her in death in 1996. She leaves to cherish her memory: One daughter: Linda Grubbs and husband Carlos of Lexington, One brother: C.M. Antle of Arcola, IL, One grandson: Kenneth Grubbs and wife Karyn of Lexington, And a host of other family and friends. There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Blakeman on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

Bro. Steve Orr will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery, 3441 Old Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Oct 14, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.
