Obituary for Joyce A. Edwards Joyce A. Edwards, 72, joined the angels and her loved ones that have passed on before her on November 12, 2018. Joyce Ann Edwards was born on October 15, 1946 in Dallas to Bessie (Pyl) and Raymond Mullins. In Joyce’s younger years, she was a model for different departments stores; Dillard’s and Neman Marcus of Dallas.

She also designed floral arrangements for weddings in her father’s flower shop, Ray Mullins Flowers in Dallas and at the time it was the largest one in the Dallas area. She retired to Bandera about 15 years ago and moved to Kerrville the last few years of her life. Joyce was a care giver for her mom for many years and took time to care for others as well.

She was a feisty woman that loved life to its fullest. Based on her Christian beliefs, she believed in giving to others and lived that in her daily life. Joyce also loved the holidays and spending time with family and friends.

The family will forever remember the sweet saying Joyce would recite to them, “ I love you, a bushel and a peak, a hug around the neck”. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one true love, AC Edwards and her siblings. Left to cherish Joyce’s memory is her children, Karen Black and husband, Bill, Ray Edwards and wife Debbie, Kim Edwards and Chris Edwards; grandchildren, Shaina, Nate, Mitch, Dillon and Suzie; and great grandchild, Raleigh.
