Joyce’s Obituary Joyce Ann Stewart Age 80, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Brookhaven Nursing & Rehab Center in Brookville. Joyce was born March 5, 1938 in Glendale, West Virginia to the late William & Thelma (Cunningham) Jones. In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Richard, in 2005.

Joyce formerly attended the Vandalia United Methodist Church and she was an active member of the Vandalia Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by two sons, Richard Stewart (Melanie) and Marc Stewart; two grandchildren, Nicholas & Madeline Stewart; siblings, Keith Jones and Sherry Dodd (Joe); and by her two beloved cats, Petey and Chloe. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia.

Funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Michael Malcosky officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Joyce to the Vandalia Senior Citizens Center, 21 Tionda Drive S., Vandalia, Ohio 45377.
