WEAVER – Joyce E., 82, Davidsville, peacefully went to her heavenly home December 24, 2018. Born January 14, 1936, daughter of Robert and Muriel (Adams) Englehart. Preceded by parents; husband, Jim; son, J.R.; grandson, Michael; and sisters, Shirley and Beverly.

Loving mother of Traci Weaver Butler (Butch), Korbi Slocum and Shayni Marsh (Chuck). Proud Grammy of Jennifer Beaner, Breanne Slocum (Jake) and Joshua Slocum and great-Grammy of Kayleigh, Robbie and Erica. Dear sister of Michael Englehart (Pam) and adored by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Doted on grandpuppies, Higgins and Auggie. Active at Ferndale UM Church where she sang in the choir. No visitation.

Family and friends are invited to a service celebrating Joyce’s life at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28 at Ferndale UM Church. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Windber Hospice or Ferndale UMC trustees.

We are deeply appreciative of the loving care Joyce received from Dr. Higbee and the Conemaugh Cancer Care Center, Connie and the home health nurses of Conemaugh Home Health (Boswell) and Dr. Warshel, Jan and the staff and volunteers at Windber Hospice. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. (II Timothy 4:7).

John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue, is in charge of arrangements.
