Shope, Joyce E., 80 of South Charleston passed away April 30, 2018 in the OSU Medical Center East. She was born in London, Ohio on April 26, 1938, the daughter of Edgar and Violet Miller. Joyce was a 1956 graduate of Southeastern.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Perry Mac Shope; sons Jeff and Keith; sister Betty Miller; brothers Edgar, Albert and Chester Miller. Survivors include her children Bruce Shope, Rhonda Chapman, Cindy (Doc) Thompson and Sonya (JR) Stephens; brother Lester (Melba) Miller; sister Patty Lewis; 20 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 2:00PM in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions are requested to the Madison Township Fire/EMS PO Box 780 South Charleston, Ohio 45368. Expression of sympathy may be made at www.
