Obituary for Joyce Elaine Cook Joyce Elaine Cook, 84, of Stephenville passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in Stephenville. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Glenn Boyd officiating. Joyce was born July 21, 1934 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Stanley J. Cook and Allie Wauldene Atkinson Cook.

She attended the University of North Texas and Tarleton College and became a teacher, teaching in Waco and Stephenville. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Parham and husband, Alan, of Stephenville; grandchildren, Katie Parham of Odessa and Matt Parham and wife, Mylissa, of Stephenville; cousin, Lynn Stasey and husband, Gary, and their children, of Stephenville; great-grandchild, Pistol J.
