Joyce Eleanor Rine, 88, passed away on June 2, 2018 with her three sons at her side. Born in Akron, Joyce had lived in Tallmadge for 60 years prior to moving to Kent 3 years ago. She was a member of The Chapel in Akron.

Joyce was a loving wife, and a fantastic mother and grandmother. She loved playing the piano and organ and did so for her church up until 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Eleanor (Clark) Nunn.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 70 years, Dale L.; sons, Darrell (Jayne) Rine, David (Deanne) Rine, and Mark (Andrea) Rine; grandchildren, Krista Rine, Shane (Jessica) Rine, Erik (Jenya) Rine, Shaun Rine, Derek Rine, Lindsey (Myles) McVeigh, Tanesha Rine and Ethan Rine; four great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday June 12th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. , (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with a service to follow at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Mike Nicols will be officiating.

Private interment for family only will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
