Joyce Marie Crow, age 77, of Grand Haven passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Mercy Hospital. She was born September 8, 1941, in Grand Haven to John and Lillian (Spencer) Kooiman, and married William Crow on May 31, 1979, in Grand Haven. Joyce enjoyed word search books, camping, watching old tv shows, attending Life Circles, browsing at the Antique Mall, and most of all spending time with family and grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, William Crow; daughter, Marie (Daniel) Haak; step-son, William Hughes; three grandchildren: Timothy “T.J.” Blatt, Joshua Blatt, and Kristen (Joe) Klooster; one great-grandchild, Theodore Klooster; and her brother, William (Barb) Kooiman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Elsie Garrison, and brother, Roger Kooiman. The funeral service for Joyce will be held at Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Service – The VanZantwick Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019, with Rev.

John Brown officiating. Friends may meet the family from 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 11, at The VanZantwick Chapel. Memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
