Mrs. Thelma Ruth Sharp, age 98, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was born on June 16, 1920 to Warren and Carrie (Blodgett) Perry in Ingham, NE. She later moved to Portland, OR where she met Charles Sharp.

They married on January 31, 1947 in Vancouver, WA. Thelma and Chuck moved to Muskegon, MI in 1948. Thelma is survived by her children, Dan (Debra) Sharp and Julia (Douglas) Ferski; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Meg) Sharp, Jessica (Charles) Griffin, Ryan Sharp and Daniel Ferski; four great-grandchildren, Grayson, Gavin, Hailey and Skylar; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, of 41 years, their stillborn daughter, Suzanne; her parents and her siblings: Wayne, Mary, Mildred, Vivian and Richard. A Memorial Service will be held 2PM Friday, February 15, 2019, at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave. , Muskegon, MI 49442, 231-726-5210 with Pastor Tom Case officiating with visitation beginning at 1PM.
