Mr. Ronald Louis Faino, age 80, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at his home. Ron was born November 15, 1938 to Salvatore and Mary (Iacopetti) Faino in Muskegon. He was employed as a service engineer with SAF (Neway) Holland for 36 years before retiring in 2001.

He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. On June 23, 2000 he married Linda L. Lather. Ron enjoyed his work, but family was his passion.

He loved large family gatherings with all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family will miss him including Linda, his wife of 18 years; his children Cheryl (Doug) Middlecamp of Fruitport, Ronald (Gina) Faino Jr. of N. Muskegon, Janice (Mike) Bourgoin of Muskegon, and Jill (Bill) Perri of Mears; grandchildren, Derek (Nicole) Middlecamp, Drake (Erin Cook) Middlecamp, Louie (Nikki) Faino III, Nick (Nickii Bouwman) Faino, Sam Faino, Joe Bourgoin, Taylor Bourgoin, Alexandrea (Derek) Hughes, and William (Shanika Honaker) Perri III; nine great-grandchildren; his sister, Margaret Mitchelson and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie (Lawrence) Faino, brother, Bert Faino and sister, Rosemary Duff.

A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 10 AM Monday, April 1, 2019 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 451 S. Getty St with Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding.

Visitation will be Noon-3 PM Sunday, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with the Rosary being prayed at Noon. There will also be an hour visitation prior to Mass on Monday from 9-10 AM at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
