Obituary for Mrs. Joyce M. Silveri Joyce M. Silveri, 86, of Westville died Monday, September 17, 2018 at The Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone. Born on Sept. 27, 1931 in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of Roy and Beulah (Yando) Dumas.

Her first marriage was to Cyril O. McDonald on May 12, 1951, which ended in divorce. Her second marriage was to Peter Silveri in October 1986. He predeceased her in 1991.

Joyce worked for many years cleaning. She was employed as a home health aide for North Country Home Services for 12 years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. John Bosco Church, Malone.

Joyce enjoyed bowling and loved step, round and square dancing. She is survived by 3 children, Michael McDonald and his wife, Susan of Brainardsville, Cindy Rousell and her husband, Roger of Dade City, FL, Terry McDonald of Malone; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she was predeceased by her parents; a son, Cyril McDonald Jr.; two brothers, Richard and Ronald Dumas.

Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Thursday, September 20 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. A prayer service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with Deacon Brian Dwyer officiating. Entombment will take place in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens, Ellenburg Depot. The family requests that those wishing to remember Joyce have a mass said at their Church or donations made to the Westville Rescue Squad.
