She was born in Schenectady, NY on Jan. 20, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Gardinier Brandt. She retired from SUNY Albany as a secretary and was the beloved wife of the late Alan Richard Francis who died in 1971.

Joyce was the devoted mother of Gail A. Skiff of Clifton Park; also survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services private and at the convenience of the family from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt.
