Obituary of Joyce Mawhiney Joyce S. Mawhiney passed away on April 22, 2018. She was born on August 28, 1936 in Lockport, NY a daughter of Walter and Margaret (Yoder) Stauder. Joyce loved doing yard work, going to her monthly luncheons with her girlfriends but most of all spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Donald Mawhiney in 2000. Joyce is survived by her children Scott D. Mawhiney and Sue A. Mawhiney; grandson Patrick Barnwell; sister Mary Ellen (William) Parker; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was also predeceased by her siblings, Arlene (Harold) Stieg, Geraldine Bumpers, Jane Stauder, Marion Ames, Donald Stauder, Raymond (Ruth) Stauder, Walter (Joan) Stauder.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, April 26 from 4-7PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Lockport, where a funeral service will immediately follow. Private interment in Cold Spring Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association, would be appreciated by the family.
