Obituary of Robert Ayers Robert C. “Ayersy” Ayers of Lockport, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on November 24, 1952 in Lockport, he was the son of Paul M. and Mary M. Wright Ayers. He and Karen Wilson were married on February 11, 1978 and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

Ayersy worked as a Divisional Quality Network Rep. for Delphi Thermal Systems and was a UAW retiree. An avid Civil War collector and former reenactor, he was in the process of writing a book called Where Have All the Soldiers Gone?

Surviving are his wife, Karen Wilson Ayers; daughters, Katie (Scott) Griffin and Rebecca (David) Dexter; three granddaughters, Imari, Ayeriana and Alena; his brother, Richard P. Ayers Sr. and “Liebe”, his canine buddy. Predeceased by his sister, Mary Margaret Pavlik. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.
