Juan’s Obituary Juan Rubio Gonzalez, 79, passed away peacefully at Colorado Plains Medical Center on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Fort Morgan. He was born June 18, 1939 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Doroteo and Micaela Rubio. Before moving to Colorado 23 years ago, Juan worked in mining while in Mexico.

He especially enjoyed his job as a driller. He loved to watch baseball and he loved spending time with his family. Juan is survived by his wife, Hermenegilda, six children, twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and a brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, and a sister. Visitation will be Monday, March 25th from 3 – 6 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 26th at 10:00 AM at Saint Helena’s Catholic Church in Fort Morgan.

Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
