Obituary for Juanita McDaniel Juanita (nee Boggs) McDaniel of West Harrison passed away at the age of 75 on June 9th, 2018. She was born on December 10th, 1942 to James and Olga (nee Adams) Boggs. She was blessed with three children: Janet, Roy Dean, and Larry.

Juanita worked at the US Shoe Company for 25 years then for 15 years as a nurse’s aide. Juanita loved spending time with family, and her friends at North Dearborn Village. Juanita enjoyed her relationship with Jesus and listening to the Gaithers.

Her other interests included looking at her (purple) flowers, listening to her chimes, and drinking her coffee (strong and black). Her daily routine which she enjoyed was watching her favorite TV shows (CSI, wrestling), and movies (Free Willy), along with caring for her two fur babies “Batman” and “Toby”. Those left to cherish and carry on Juanita’s memories are her children: Janet (Paul) Gangloff, Roy (Michelle) Gentry, and Larry Gentry; cherished grandchildren: Krista (Brian) Mahon, Joshua (Emily) Gangloff, Sarah (Josh) Streckfuss, Jasmine Smith; great grandchildren: Caleb Gangloff and Baby Streckfuss on the way.

She is also survived by her siblings: Callie Collins, Leon Boggs, and James Boggs, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents: James and Olga Boggs; grandson David Gangloff, and siblings: Mary Byrd (sister), Robert “Bobby” Boggs (brother), Thelma Farthing (sister), Louise Hart (sister), Mavis Dittmer (sister), and Brenda Case (sister). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16th, 2018 from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030.

Burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery in Bright, IN. Pastor Doug Combs will be officiating. Memorials may be made in Juanita’s memory to PAWS of Dearborn County through the funeral home.
