Juanita Pressly April 19, 1921 – May 3, 2019 Juanita Coffey Pressly, 98, a long-time resident of Irving, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 in Plano, TX. Born April 19, 1921 in Clarksville, TX, she was the daughter of the late Walter Deck Coffey and Winnie Bell Pierce Coffey. She grew up in Rocket and Ferris, TX, later moving to Houston.

On September 4, 1948 she married Thompson Elwood Pressly in Houston and they had two sons. She was a retired Irving ISD school secretary, working at Elliott Elementary from its opening, for over 20 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Tom in 2003, her son Tommy (Tom) in 2013, her sister Nancy in 2018, and her brother Bobby in 1985, Juanita is survived by her son Greg Pressly and wife Joy of Plano, TX; five grandchildren, Ryan Pressly of Lantana, TX, Jenay Pressly, Julia Pressly, Grant Pressly, and Jill Pressly all of Plano, TX; a sister Marjorie Coffey of Houston, TX; a niece Diane Coffey Dean of Denton, TX; and a nephew Kyle Cowen of Richmond, TX.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060. Wayne Watkins will officiate.
