Juanita Ruth Logan, 80 of Portsmouth, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was a daughter of the late James Edward and Margaret Lena Shover Logan. Ruth was also preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Ralph Logan, Avanelle Clark, Helen Cooper, Marcella Newman, Yvonne Kirsch, and Charles Logan.

She is survived by two brothers, Raymond Logan of Sweetwater, TN and Donald Logan of Wheelersburg. Goldie Richardson, Alice Ball and Ruth aka The Golden Girls will miss their many shopping sprees chasing peanut butter and drives to Taco Bell. Ruth was a stubborn, headstrong, mostly never wrong, hardworking, and caring woman.

She loved her church and participated in the many activities at the First Church of God. Aunt Ruthie will be forever remembered as the aunt who was important in the lives of all her nieces and nephews. She is well known for her delectable fudge and delicious macaroni-n-cheese.

Food was her way of saying “I Love You” to her family and friends. Simply said, we will miss you Aunt Ruthie. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
